shit about car audio. I'm quite ignorant about that stuff. I know about head units and amps and subs and shit, but it's just the basic stuff. I want to replace my factory speakers and I just want to know how to go about doing it. What I need to buy ect... thanks for the help.

go with mb quartz speakers

you replace how many speakers you have of course, you can hook em up to an amp which sounds real nice but with tdays head units which are usally 50w 4 channel there is no need.

this reminds me of myself. i say to myself, "you know it would better if you put in a nice system." then I think to myself, "forget it, too much work."

i am not great with car audio either, unless you really know your stuff or know somebody who does; it's going to be a pain in the ass. my friend tried it and he gave up because there was so many wires and he went nuts and took it in to have it done. he was asking me how to do it and i said, "how the hell should i know?"

Well, I already installed my head unit, my amp and my 2 subs. It WAS a pain in the ass i have to admit, but I did it by reading a book lol. I'm the kind of person that likes to do things himself, so this will just be another little project for me.

but hey, what about the crossover? Do I really need one? Or is that for people that are really anal about their shit
