who has Netfilix or it's equal?

considering how seldom i actually watch it; the "premium movie" channels on my cable system are a waste of money for me.

i'm wondering if i should drop all the extra, pricey channels and start renting dvds instead.

netflix commercials sound interesting....the dvds mailed to me, i mail them back..little hassle involved..

it's pretty awesome, you can put a whole bunch of movies in a queue, and it will just send you the next one in the queue when you send one back, not time limit, etc etc.

I like it because of the queue, I always forget these movies I want to see, so that kind of lets you manage it

When you sign up they will be great for a while but after you hit a certain length of time as a customer they will slow down the rate at which they send you out dvds.

I tried blockbuster for a while and they were on par with netflix but I dropped them too.

I'm a fan of the bit torrent these days.

netflix was cool. i haven't used either netflix or bb in a long time, but when i did, netflix was better. apparently, the disparity has lessened, perhaps even in favour of bb (from what i've heard others say). it's largely a matter of selection and what you're looking for. if you like getting films that are a bit obscure or likely harder to find, then you can do a few searches on either site to see which site comes up with more of your choices. if they both have it all, or you don't care, then maybe it's a toss-up. bb has the advantage of their freedom something, which allows you to get dvds through the mail, but also bring them back into a store, get shit from the store, etc...all for one flat, monthly rate (i think).

as for me, i've found downloading movies off the net works quite well, considering it's free and involves not even so much as a trip to your mailbox.

I know they had a few law suits from guys who went through a lot of newly released movies very quickly because they were slowing them down....

I tend to not watch the new releases anyway

I love Netflix!!
I signed up for it and blockbuster at the same time to compare and the site for Netflix sold me. You can veiw others ratings and have a friend list. I am on the unlimited, 3 at a time and seems I always have a movie to watch. Just make sure to keep your queue full at all times

They charge the exact same!
For mine it is 17.00 a month....if you get the 2 unlimited a month it is 14

I was paying almost 5 for every movie I rented from Blockbuster....I counted how many movies were mailed out to me last month and it would of cost me almost 75.00 rented them from store. 15.00 for every 3 movies you rent from in store!!!

Put it in the mail monday on wed there's a new one.

After about 18 months they started limiting the flow and it got to a point where we were getting one movie a month. I like the service when they lived up to their end of the bargain but I wouldn't go back again.
