Yes and I'm glad I did. The separation was needed to put everything into perspective. Just make sure that if you're going to consider it that you put all the cards on the table and talk about what went wrong before and how you'd like to handle things differently. Without doing that, you'll likely fall back into old habits (but even if that happens for a bit, you can try to talk things out). Some things are worth a second chance....but many are not.

I do it almost all the time..its weird..I always end up dating my ex’s or girls I dated in the past again..usually just date and hang out…I tend to “recycle” girls…less headaches that way with having to do the whole get to know the new girl routine BS. About 2 months ago I saw this girl I used to date 3 yrs ago, haven’t seen each other since really, maybe at a store here and there…so we were chatting and she asked what I was doing..long story short I drove to her house and its like we picked up where we left off…we started fooling around the second I walked through the door lol

One of my ex's I have dated occasionally...I love spending time with him, because he is very outgoing and loads of fun. Unforunately, it seems as it doesn't take too long before old problems crop up. The old saying that "people never change" is pretty true in most situations. So unless you are able to accept the things that caused headaches before, dating an ex is not always the best way to go...

I got back together with an ex 4 years after she broke up with me. I was a total dickhead and fucked it up the first time and never let myself get over it. It took me about a year to get over her. Then when she got back from school we started hanging out and were together for a year and a half. Then I broke up with her, we had a lot of differences and were better off being friends.

No, could never have gotten back w/ the ex. He hurt me really bad, but I found someone better to replace him. Now, I look at it as it was HIS loss. hehe
