Who has an incompetent boss?

My boss is just absolutely pathetic. I'm not sure if it's laziness or incompetence. Whenever there is something I need, I have to bypass the chain of command and get what I need on my own or I'll never get it. It's so bad, I don't even bother telling her what's going on any more. It's just a waste of time.

My last boss was an alcoholic and even he was more on the ball than this woman. The worst part is, I'm always getting passed over for promotions.

my director is a lazy asshole... he doesn't talk to anyone (friendly conversations) he'll say hi to you but he's always looking at the ground when he does. He seriously spends about 2 hours tops in the office and is always taking time off for hobbies or doing research about his hobbies on the net in his office. He devotes atleast a full hour playing solitaire too. He thinks yelling at random employee's for no reason motivates them to work harder. If he ever yells at me i'm gonna punch him right in the cock sucker, that's a promise! We have our christmas party coming up pretty soon haha i think i'm just going to get my bonus and then get drunk at the party and try to fight him

My old boss was a genius. I had a tough job but what kept me there for so long was my respect for him and his intellect. Had he been a moron, I would have quit long before I did. Much props to him. That just goes to show, if you do things right, you'll have people listening or following "orders" without you having to yell at them, intimidate, etc...

My boss can't even communicate overtime requirements clearly. She sends out a message saying the following peope have 15 hours of required overtime this week. She then follows it by saying everyone else should "plan on" five hours. Well, what the fuck does "plan on five hours" mean? Does that mean five hours is required or does it mean that we should just "plan for it" in case it is needed? Turns out, it meant there was definitely 5 hours required. Why the fuck didn't she say that the first time? It's real easy, just say "five hours is required of everyone else". This is only a small example of her poor communication skills.
