Who has a Wacom tablet???

I bought the 6x8 Intuit(sp) tablet yesterday via Buy.com. About $250 or something.

Would have gone cheaper but I never regret guying the better item.

This think is supposed to help me on Photoshop. Made sense being a digital photog.


I got into digital before it was hip and got out. Now I almost behind times.

The Wacoms are great if you're used to drawing by hand...I worked with artists who used 'em, and no mouse. I could never get the hang of it, but I can't draw either.

I am sure we could all draw better with a pen than a mouse. Some of the detail work in Photoshop is quite exacting.

my dad is an amazing artist and has one of those for his mac... he doesnt even use a mouse anymore, he loves it, and work looks amazing so it looks like ti works

I had no idea what to get so I bought one that is better than average to play it somewhat safe.

i have one, bigger one i think.... i don't use it exclusively.....i like my scroll button too much. but it is pretty cool, I would like to use it more.

Your writing area is larger than 8x6? Thats pretty big.

Thought about that but space can be tight at a clients locale. Plus I have good hands and don't need all the help in the world.

I have a small 4X6 one. It has the pen and the mouse. However I rarely use it.

no actually i do have the 8x6 one....i set it to a smaller rectangle in the middle anyway so i can zoom around the screen quicker and with less wrist movement....i have the sensitivity turned way up on my mouse too

Yea..it looked like the 8x6 is a good compromise.
