Depends on who's statistics you read.

IMHO I think once upon a time you could say men, hands down but anymore, eh, not so much. Probably about equal with men still having the slight edge. But no matter what if someone, guy or girl, is cheating it means the relationship is inherently flawed. You can't "take" someone away from a relationship if they're happy and nobody goes sniffing around for strange when they're content at home.

Men don't have the edge! End of the day woman have the poon. All we have is the backhand.

Being in and out of the online dating world, I've been surprised at the number of attached women who are openly looking for a fling or even a one time thing. That was an eye opener for me. I was also surprised at the number of guys who were in the under 30 crowd with serious gf's, also looking for that fling. It's sad...you're not married, you don't have kids together...end the relationship and go play. The old "everything's great but the sex" crap shouldn't be happening at 25. imho

So true. Being serious a second, yes I can do that, guys and girls that cheat and won't end it first are afraid of losing both and scared of being being alone. I think it's cowardice. Some are also into the thrill of it but they are fucking with peoples trust and that makes a perpetual cycle in their future relations. I'm 40 and have never cheated ever not even in a dating situation. If I want to move on I always ended first. I never wanted to be cheated on. The whole "treat others.." moto.
