I acually bought the book... back in 2003.. but they keep it updated.. and i noticed one part had changed... or all then names changed.. do does that mean all the names there were in there in 2003 are considered bad now... or does anyone still use the old name... ha ha........... if this makes any since.. i am sure you know what i mean... thank..

Not nearly as expensive as finding a cheaper source and then getting scammed. If the sources are listed in the book and by any chance you have a problem with them, you have the mods here that can come in and put leverage on the source.

Yeah, you could find most of the info elsewhere for free but if the sources are legit like it claims, then the $50 is worth it for that alone. So far, the prices they sell their gear for isn't too much more than most and if it is legit then it is worth the extra cash. If I get scammed from one of them though I am going to flip out because regardless of the disclaimer at the beginning of the list, if it is in the book that you have to pay for, it is an endorsement.

There are open source boards that screen and stand behind sources the same way this book does. And their prices are much, much better. This book is fine for those who don't have someone to show them ropes. But once you get into this life you'll realize that this book is purely amateur hour.
