But if the team feels victimized, then wouldn't it make more sense to move somewhere else for the crimes? I'm surprised that more blacks don't drive to a 'white' (or whatever nationality floats your boat) neighborhood and commit crimes (other then rap).

I feel you but crime is:

1. about opportunity (the opportunity to steal/shoot somebody). Why take an hour to drive across town when you can go down the block? We're too lazy for that. If they weren't lazy they'd stop robbing folks and go get a job.

2. anger/revenge. You're more likely to have a beef with somebody in your neighborhood...or somebody who's in your neighborhood but shouldn't be (gang turf).
