Whinny powder real?

Someone I know purchased a 100 grams of whinny powder. Is there a lab you guys know of that would test it? Seems real. It's from China from a nice dude named Josh..Any home tests? Mixed it with bac water and shook it. Separated nicely after an hour or so.

What concentration did you use? I'm asking because winny tends to fall out of suspension easily.

Powders from China are of varying quality.

Btw, winny suspension is not going to work for the typical homebrewer...in fact most UG labs can't even make it.

As far as home test, you could do a melting point test...it's the best you can do.

I used the method posted by one of the Elite bro's. I used 2 grams of powder,4 ml's of peg 400, .5ml of BA,heated it up until it melted or went clear. filtered it, added Bac water, 13ml and that was it. Sound right?
