which state has the most midgets?

I surmise it is california. Don't expect any tangible logic, however.

First, let us assume that there is a fairly even dispersment of midgets. If this is so, the state with the largest population would have the most.

Secondly, if I was a midget, which I may be, I would not want to live in any state with 3 foot snow banks, either... good weather => midgets.

I heard rencently that midget is as offensive to them as some racial slurs - I don't mean this to be offensive, I just think "little people" sounds really stupid when the person is a midget. I'm not saying they are a bad person.

no no no - dwarves and midgets are very different.
a dwarf is a little person with a misproportioned body - little arms and legs with a big head - they are what you frequently see.
midgets on the other hand are proportioned, just really little.
they each get pissed off if you refer to them as the other one.
