juiceddreadlocks

rebuilding, getting there

Riding a bike 20 miles each direction to work. I'm looking for something equivalent to Biotest Surge. I searched but couldnt find the answer I was looking for and their products on the site are too similar.

Biotest Surge is essentially Gatorade with some BCAA's. Not bad, but not worth thew price.

A better option would be BIG BLAST . It's also a high gycemic drink but more potent and better for strength.

As for the biking , two supps would be perfect -- VIGOR and ZIP. VIGOR is the closest thing to "blood doping" (a fav or pro cyclists incidentally) in that in increases blood volume and red blood cell count. That could also be a big factor on why your lifts are down. ZIP hypes the thyroid without supression and adds a nice lift with stimulants.

Other than a good multi (DX7) that's really all you need and should work out just right. Let us know.

I realize surge is basically a maltodextrin drink with flavoring and some protein/aa's.

I think that's what I'm looking for. I'd guess the protein factory version of that supplement would be cheaper. I follow JB's precision nutrition plan almost to a T, but think this part of my diet/exercise program is what's holding me back from further gains. I'm just looking to level out my calories, and get back into eating more than I'm burning... without breaking the bank.
