Which post-apocalyptic world would you choose to live in?

A. The world has been ravaged by nuclear war, and is nasty, brutish...and fucked for the long haul. The environment is nearly completely dead, and only scraps of basic technology survive. However, there are still a few human beings and animals left, scattered around the globe.

B. Something has killed off or removed all other humans from the planet, and you're the only one left. The earth itself is fine, no damage to speak of. Technology, infrastructure, etc. can still function, to the extent that you can operate it yourself.
