Ive read that to stop hair loss totally and grow some back you have to take 5 avodart pills a day........with the sides..........not sure if its worth it, even if you get your insurance to cover it

Bullshit. You can look over the graph shown on www.buy-avodart.com, I've seen this graph on many other sites as well as it was originally made as part of a slideshow by glaxo the pharmaceutical company after their first fda pass study. 0.5mg dutasteride (ONE PILL) outperformed 5mg of finasteride !!!!! (5 pills of propecia or 1 pill of proscar). that's also the reason why it's superior medication for treating prostate problems than proscar is. ask any knowlegdable prostate doc specializing in prostate issues.
I've used Avodart (dutasteride) for a year or maybe longer, and I don't see any difference at all in libido or any other side effect.
