Which is a better breakfast for cutting?

Lowfat cottage cheese, unsweetened pineapple, artificial sweetener

OR

Cheerios, skim milk, sweetener

(Oh, and I know oatmeal and protein powder is better than either of them. I have that a lot for breakfast, but I'm looking for a little variety.)

#1 Definately.

Cheerios have a super-high GI(Glycemic Index).

Not to mention #2 is devoid of much protein. Meal 1 is actually pretty good for breakfast since it's the safest time to consume fructose. After an all night fast your liver glycogen isn't full so you don't have to worry about the sugar going to the wrong place.
 
adding a tsp of nut/walnut oil (to #1) could be a great idea

Very interesting. The reason I dumped the CC/PA thing in the first place was because I thought the fructose would be a bigger problem than the high GI rating of the Cheerios.

Man, I love how you use pictures to help me understand.

All is pretty well in gymtimeland. Workouts going well, but the diet has slipped somewhat of late. Nothing too damaging, but a refocus is definitely in order.
