i dated a girl who was 26 and I was 20 at the time... she always thought I was a kid and didnt really take anything i said seriously.... but i guess when you are much older that age difference becomes smaller and less significant

Recently I've had some attention from a couple of ladies who are a few years older than me. I'm 26, they're 31 and 32 respectively. I've never got out with anyone older than me before...and I must say I'm somewhat intrigued by the idea.

The second paragraph is sound advice. I have a bit of experience at this as well, and he hit the nail right on the head. Also, if she is over 25, and even more true if over 30, she'll put out very easy, and will generally have skills.

I've dated older women in about the same age group as you have mentioned. I was 26 and started dating a 33 year old woman. She was the second older woman I dated. There is a huge problem with this. It's called jealousy. They do not like the fact that they are getting older and maybe not so attractive as the 22 yr old hottie that's wearing a thong at the beach. That is the main flaw. True - but the thing that you have to realize when you're over 30 (females & males) is that you already had your 20's and being in that age group is for that age group.

I had it so easy in my early 20's but I was too clueless to realize it - my loss.

The true test and the best achievement is to become everything wanted to be. If you didn't have the best bod in your 20's you can work to acheive that in your 30's and if you did have a rocking body in your 20's you can spend your 30's maintaining it.

So what it really boils down to is being comfortable in your own skin and that is completely unreated to age.

Thanks. Yes and yes.

Appeal? It just happened I was as attracted to him as he was to me the age was just what it was and I can't say it ever bothered me (I was also taller than him - that may have bothered me at times).

If you're attracted to each other have similiar and different hobbies and find that you can somehow grow together regardless of age difference there's no reason not to do it.

That said age as always does not define maturity or stage of life - it's the latter two objectives that will effect a relationship greater than age difference.

Although, I must say that being in your 20's and dating someone else also in their 20's with 1-8 year age difference changes things less because you are more likely in similiar life stage.

A younger man or a man my same age is more likely to treat me as a friend and lover where as an older man 10-15+ years can't help but to be fatherly or mentor like just out of life experience and the desire to protect you from making their mistakes.

Younger - older there are so many stereotypes and what it really boils down to is the person whom you desire to be with and who they are not the birthdate on their driver's license.
