Go to yahoo and type in "esupp".They sell a 10lb optimum nutrition whey bag for 45 bucks.I usually take in 2 scoops in the morning along with 2 glasses of milk and 2 nat pb sandwhiches.And of course 2 scoops after training along with glycoload and my ala.I read on here somewhere that whey is digested very quickly and around 50% (sucks huh!) of it converts to glycogen.Its definately not a protein you would want to use alot.Try 2 scoops in the morning with a meal and then 2 scoops after workouts and at night eat a pound and a half of cottage cheese.The cottage cheese is slow digested and has a great amino acid profile.Not to mention a pound and a half is 90 grams of protein with only about 20 carbs and 30 fat,watch out if your cutting tho.
