Whey Protein Safety

Hey All,
This may seem like a stupid question, but does anyone know of any long-term studies on whey protein? I'm one of those who uses a lot of whey protein. Twoo scoops at 11:00am, two scoops at 4:00pm. I use 100% Natural Whey by ON. In addition, I drink a Met-RX RTD 51 protein drink after my workouts! The problem is that when I take the whey protein by ON, I get bloated...lol! Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Actually, it's not a dumb question - but the question has a sad answer, there are currently no studies proving anything as far as long term health defects by high protein diets.

probably liver and bone damage. bone damage from lack of calcium...so maybe take some more calcium to balance the protein? thats my own unwarranted solution. drink lots of water to save your liver from so much protein?
