Tried to research this first, not much luck. How old does protein have to be before it's useless. A friend who manages a GNC gave me tons of it because of exp dates. According to him it should be good forever, but they put an ex dt on it to have an idea how old it is. Got it late 2003.

I forgot to say that most of the Pro Performance 2lb tubs don't even have a date. sell-by area is blank. Could be from the 18th century.

As long as it's sealed and was stored properly it should be fine.

I know people that have been hospitalized due to expired protein. There is a best before date on all products for reason. The most I would go is 6 months after the best before date. After that your taking your chances
