Whey at breakfast

For my bedtime meal I have a Miccelean protein shake with Hood carb countdown dairy beverage and 1 tbsp of flax oil. Than when I wake up after sleeping for 8 hours, I have for breakfast a 1/2 cup of oatmeal, a cup of green tea, and 5 egg whites.

I figure the eggwhites will SLOWLY supply protein throughout the day until my next meal.

My question is, should I add 1 scoop of a whey protein shake to my breakfast as well (along with the oats, green tea, and egg whites)? Seeing I haven't had any protein for 8 hours should I get some fast acting protein (the whey shake) AND a slow acting protein (eggwhites)?

Or would I be fine with just the egg whites for my protein at breakfast?

definitely get some whey in ya first. I take a whey protien shake shake FIRST THING in the morning, befire I shower, eat, anything. you can digest more protein in the morning than any other time during the day, so get that protein in you and start building muscle right away.

Hey, if you have room, eat some whey too.....I do both....sometimes I have whey and oats....sometimes I have eggs, oats and whey...but I've found the best option for ME is cardio, oats and whey, then Meal #2 is eggs and flax toast.....maybe some cottage cheese......

Slow acting protein (casein , glycerlean) at night , quick absorbing in da morning. I feel deprived if I don't get a good dose of protein in da morning.

Well technically your body has just gone without protein for 6-8 hours so I'm sure it is definitely wanting protein pretty bad when you wake up. That's just common sense especially if you lift, DUH.

Kinda the same reason you do cardio in the morning, because your body is in a semi-fasted state, DUH.

Whether or not your body can digest more protein in the morning than any other time of day(besides after training) is his theory, and it seems reasonable to me.

Might as well not eat protein in the morning, huh?

In fact, might as well skip breakfast in general. I hear it's the most important meal of the day, but what kind of shit is that?

The time of day your body would digest more would be PW.

I don't know about you, but I don't do cardio in the morning. Why train yourself while fasted? That's stupid if you ask me.

Cardio on empty if performed correctly w/a sound nutritional approach the other 23 hours of the day is impeccable at getting sound results.

If one does not address the specifics to the above, then the experience may be sub-par in nature, thus leading to the outlook you have, which is very twisted.

Anaerobic exercise on E is not a really good idea, no, but for cardio it's ideal. Again, it's all about what you know about cardio, how to eat to support fat loss and lean mass preservation/gain/etc. I've gotten really good at doing this for 1000's, obviously.
