Where Would You Go...

If you could chose any of these cities to go to school where would you go? I am applying to Med schools and should have a good choice of locations. Tell me where its at:

Miami, Ft. Lauderdale,Tampa
New York
Chicago
San Diego,LA, San Fran
Boston
D.C.

Miami definitely or Tampa Bay (my parents used to have a Chalet there).

Florida and Cali are great for weather and action while DC ones would be good overall but pricey. I've visited the Georgetown med school ( I have a friend who graduated there and I've considered applying there, too) but the cost of living there is high, especially for food and living expenses. DC is a good action city, though.

I would definitely consider weather, action (you know..the workout and social scenes), cost of living, and stuff like that. Good luck!

I moved from Tampa a year ago- Lived there off and on for 10 years. Very cheap to live, very very hot chicks and nice beaches(Clearwater). Not much in the way of culture and the nightlife is nothing special. Job market is pretty crappy.
I currently live in San Diego and since moving here it has been a nightmare. VERY expensive and the job market sucks ass. Beautiful city and lots to do but you better have money. I have also lived in Boston and it is ok but I would't want to live there again. NY is great but again very expensive. I dont know where I want to live anymore. It is confusing.

i say Chicago, because i live there and therefore am totally biased. For nightlife, its unbelievable. So much to do you can never do it all. Great people, great scenery, great everything. i could go on but i'd get repetitive and my therapist said i should stay calm and not become too overly stimulated.

deppend man, do some research, for myself i would cross out Chicago, San Diego, LA, San Fran, i know boston and NY have great schools but i'm a florida guy, i love it there....

O ya, and the Mexican Border(Tijuana) is right there too, if you want to do all that shit I just mentioned for next to zero dollars. I payed 35 dollars for an 8-ball of Coke last time I was in TJ & the shit was the color of snot practically. It was good shit is what I'm sayin' to you! Yeah, its a tough decision. I have never lived at any of these places...but I must say I am fed up with the long winters of Wisconsin, I get so deppressed after six months of 20 degree weather. I am also looking to find a place that would be good for a possible practice. I want to do cosmetic surgery, so any big city will do just fine. I want to make sure I can go to school and afford all the little extras I like to supplement my body with.

If So, Miami would be good if you are Bi Lingual..

If I am making a wrong ASS-Umption, forgive me and Don't go near Miami unless Tu Hablo ....

Tampa is a good choice for cost of living, Scenery and Schools.

Si, puedo hablar espanol. but I am not hispanic. Actually it is a dead split between San diego and Miami. My fiance does micropigmentation (she tatoos makeup on chicks) and she could make $100,000/year if she gets established and is in the right city. I like the idea of being close to the border...especially since european mail is so unreliable right now.
