Where to learn more...

Hey guys,

I'm trying to learn more, not about the specific compounds of AAS (altough i think this would help) but what happens to the body as far as cortisol levels, hormones, things like that. More of how the bloodwork changes while on and off cycle and why does it change - stuff like that.

I'm looking for something thats fairly technical (i would imagine it would be at least). Maybe a medical journal or a good web-site or book.

Thanks!

Anthony Roberts or Bill Lywellin's books get into it. Actually, you may want to the the contraindications label from a bottle of prescription testosterone. That'll give the technical data. Surprisingly, the side effects listed aren't that bad.

Both legit medical journals and gear-head literature may be flawed, simply for the fact that doctors don't use steroids to grow muscle and most science guys aren't doctors.

And as for vet stuff -- forget it. There are no studies of the effects on humans.

Nelson - ok thanks i'll check in to that. By the way... read ur book and a very good read i must say. Tried that calf workout and i have never felt anything like that when doing calves and i only did 2 sets!!!!

CEO - i've been checking that out recently, u really can find anything on that site :) :) :)

did a search on "Bill Lywellin" and sue enough a top link was from EF (I guess i cant be surprised :)) and he is a member here. Anybody hear from him lately or read his books?

Thanks, glad it worked out for you. The drugsprofiles site is one of the best, but it's pretty straight forward and you said you wanted more technical stuff.

If you can find some of the guys info or books you will at least get the basics of almost each AAS out there.
They are not ver 'technical' journals by no means though if your dwelling for something deeper.
