oh and after today im going to be for 2 funfilled days
oh and im pissed too. I think when this month is over with netflix, im going to cancel them.

OK heres the dealio, Get movie, try to play movie last night, POS wouldnt play cuz it was all scratched up. Get online, tell them the problem. Mind you we have watched almost half of the movie. but in order to get the other half, we have to send them the other movie back and thennnn they send us the movie. Sucks ass
so when i send the movie back TODAY, they wont supposedly get it till monday, and then send out the movie AGAIN for tuesday. and then well go thru this again. It sucks
Im thinking of cancelling it and going to the local block buster because if we get a crappy movie there, all we have to do is take it back, and get another one. We dont have to wait a friggin week

I had cases where I've had to rip a movie to my hard drive and write it back out to a blank in order to watch it.

how did you do that? because if it wont paly in a dvd player why would it play in ur puter?

On the computer I can tell it to keep retrying until it finally gets the files off to the HD whereas on the player you'll just get skips or corruption.

Once I have them all off I can finally write it back out to a clean disc and watch it. I've also had to rip discs just to remove Macrovision since I watch through a VCR connected to an old computer monitor as I'm too cheap to buy a modern TV.
