i'm here. I get to take another one in 20 minutes. 20 very LONG minutes. :(
 
I miss pills. All of the good ones would make me fail a drug screen at work. Then, they would take the precious narc. box from my bambulance
 
I don't do xanies no more. Too many blank spots with stories attached that I am not proud of. Vics make my stomach very irritated. So nothing more than some mul;ti vitamins and some d-bols once in a while. Or some rolls on a special occasion along with an all night sitter.

I seem to be alittle dis oriented but not too much
 
vics do nothing to me. i mean, they mask pain and give me a general sense of "feel good", but no disorientation or anything- i can drive, work, etc.
even now, on percs, i'm fine as long as i'm only taking 1 at a time. 3 days ago i was taking 1 or 2 every 2 hours and couldn't hold a conversation.

Be careful.. You probably should eat something, not good to take on empty stomach.. Vicodens always messed my stomach up! My girl takes my norco occasionaly for cramps, but she can only handle 1/2.

I just ate a toddler size bowl of cream of mushroom soup.And earlier i had a half of a muffin. I really cannot eat much

So these Vic's have done much of nothing for me. I feel fine. Slight buzz but no more than that!

thats how i feel with them. my doc told me that percs are stronger than vicodin, but that some people have bad reactions to them. he said sometimes he can get away with calling in a prescription for vics, but never for percocets, so he gave me them to start with.
no bad reactions, but the pain was so bad that I had to take 2 at a time for 2 days, every 3 hours, then one every 2 hours, which meant i was taking around 10 a day for 2 days.
i'm down to 6 a day now.
i feel fine, but making a decision is hard.

I have taken two vics today. I am feeling good right now. But I am wondering how I will feel in the am

they are very addicting.
why are you on them? i mean, for pain, or just cause you wanted to try?

I have not wanted one at all until at 9pm when the pain was too much. I had taken a motrin and it did not help.
I am taking them along with anti biotics because I have a abcess, my mouth is infected. Not to mention the fact that my whole left side of my face is swollen so badly.

awww, i hope you feel better soon- it usually takes 24 hours for the antibiotics to really stgart working.
i'm on them too, for precaution.
i get a steel rod removed from my foot on tuesday, so i'll be back on the pain meds (morphine i hope) after that.

i broke it a few months ago and it heeled wrong.

Nope. I dont think Im taking any more vicodin. It makes me itchy. Aleve and ibuprofen will have to do. But really, now that the nerve/pulp has been removed from the tooth, it's not quite as painful

I've said too much.
 
this fuggin sucks. its 5am and i woke up from pain. percs won't kick in for an hour (no, not 20 minutes like people think. a stupid friggin' HOUR) and i'm just laying here with the cat staring at me.
i think i'm getting a bed sore.

That sux. I hope u feel better. look on the bright side: at least you have your kitty. I had to give mine away because cats are my only allergy.... and it's BAD.Fux with my breathing.... bad.

I feel you. I was up off and on all night long also. One would think that the vicodin would help me sleep better but I guess not. I am back to taking both vicodin and motrin together. I dont want any thing stronger than the vics due to the kids so I guess I am screwed.Fuckin tooth still hurts. I think it may hurt because of the infection going away and the swelling going away.
Anyone know roughly how long it takes for Cleocin to kick in and take control? I know most meds it takes a day or so but I am hoping that It will happen alot sooner!

the vics will only help you sleep for the first hour or two after you take them.
i hope you feel better- i bet tonight you feel a huge improvement. :heart:
