jkurz, my diets been pretty spartan because I have no appetite from the mono.. when I was bulking I was packing away maybe 5k cals a day and lots of meat, now it's -
3 x shakes a day, each with 60gs of ON whey, 3 whole eggs and some ANPB
2 tubs cottage cheese and ANPB and 1lb of either chicken or lean ground beef with veggies..
I'm drinking blended oats & brown rice rice for carb ups before and after workouts in my shakes, maybe 200gs carbs on workout days and 100 on non training days...
training is low volume upper/lower split 3 x a week.. reps are usually 4-6 and all I focus on is getting stronger in the basic lifts, I dont respond to volume or pumping training.. high reps make me lose size. Hope to be back to a 700lb deadlift, 600lb squat and 455 bench by fall once I'm recovered.
