as long as its domestic i use my info. when i was going int sometimes i'd use a couple different friends addy's so I wasn't getting a bunch of foriegn packs regularly.

I've used my real name, real address for over 10yrs now..... Never had a problem..... Tigger brings up a good point about your address on a source list, but if they wanna bust someone, they usually go UP, not DOWN the ladder...... Not to mention that if they DO bust ya, and youre using a fake addy and name, they will tack on Mail Fraud, which is a felony..... So now you got 2 felonies youre facing if youre busted..... A lawyer can usually help ya with the AAS charges, but Mail Fraud is hard to disprove in this situation..... That's my take on it anyway....

Good points here. You're taking a risk either way, but that's the nature of the game. If you ship to your home, there are obvious risks. If you open a PO box with fake ID, now you're talking additional problems.

Above all, make sure you use a reliable source who knows how to package their stuff. As a small time end user you're most likely to get into trouble if your stuff breaks / leaks in transit. Big city cops have better things to do than track you, but small town guys love to get their name in the paper.

I use my true addresse and name. Looks less suspect. If your source is in a country where it is legal and he packs well you have nothing to worry about. If you chose to order domestic... well that a whole 'nother ball game. One that I chose not to play.

...consider if, for whatever reason, something goes wrong with your WU transaction ...you'll need an valid ID to pick back up your money ...if you used a fake name, for which you do not have an ID for ...you'll have no recourse

Don't take chances at giving anyone your true address. Why would you? Have it shipped to a PO Box, hell you can rent one for like $10 a month. I can't imagine why you would want your true address to be on a source's customer list. That way when and if he gets busted they know where to come pick you up. Or in this case, your granny.

You need at least 2 forms of ID

Hey Mcfakerton, I order internationally using my own PO with real name and everything. I choose to get regular air mail instead of registered so I don't have to sign anything. That way they just leave it in your PO Box. Registered means that you have to sign for it, in which case you would be incriminating yourself if you had a controlled delivery. If your source is good they will ship multiple small packages and not one big package, that way your packages fit in your PO box. If you notice a package in there you can pick it up late night or whenever so there is less chance of a controlled delivery. Using fake ID and stuff you are just going to draw suspicion to yourself and probably end up getting busted for mail fraud and controlled substance.
