Where do you all get your blood work done?

This is probably a stupid question but I would like to get mine done but I'm a little nervous about going into my family doctor and telling her, "hey I'm using steroids."

U rookie!

C'mon man, ur not familiar with the HIPPA law I take it? Ok.... Well when u fill out the HIPPA forms at the dr it gives u a list of people u permit ur dr to discuss ur files and personal info with. If u don't have anyone on there then legally ur dr cannot speak to anyone other than u about anything said or found in that office or they could get sued and lose their license! It's a lot better to be upfront with ur dr about what u do, be honest... They're gonna tell u to stop but they know ur gonna do what u want so they will help however they can to aid u. I'm live in Dallas so i can go into a Gemini, touchstone or even a concentra clinic which can do a full blood panel on u for $50 or so. It's easier to tell ur dr what ur doing so u will have some sort of guidance on what to look for in ur test results bc it's a lot more than just testosterone levels! u can ask ur job who they use for a local source for drug testing and injuries and even go there. No matter where u go it's all private!! Better to use someone u trust tho...

Doctors cannot report you to police. They can only break confidentiality if you tell them you are going to kill someone or something like that. Ironically I dont think its illegal to be on steroids, but it is illegal to posses them. Just go to a minor med or something if you are concerned about privacy and pay cash.

On another note; the police don't give a chit bout u!! If u got caught with ur cycle u might get a controlled substance misdemeanor. They ask u where u got em then u say u bought em from a online company in bumfawk Egypt using a prepaid cc which u trashed already... Unless ur pushin serious weight they don't give a fawk bout u. Even if they wanted to get info from ur dr it wud take an act of congress meaning they don't care and won't even bother

According to the law based with all drugs it is illegal to posses a controlled substance or medicine without a prescription but it states nothing about using them other than operating a vehicle under the influence but this is getting into narcotics and such which were not concerned with... I'm not laughing especially when I try to save the guy $100 bucks getting a female panel instead of a male panel. the very thing you accuse reps of not doing.

another option is to call your local 'urgent care center' or whatever they are called in your neck of the woods and check w/ them

imo they are the most consumer driven option out there right now. i know some good people running them near me and they will do whatever you want and dont really care. they will also work w/ or without your insurance which is really nice.

Okay so I have a dr. appointment tommorrow. Should I tell my dr. also here is another concern: I am currently on my (soon to be Ex) wife's insurance. I cannot elt my x-wife ever find out about my steroid use because she would use it against me and keep my kids away from me.

What u tell ur dr is confidential and won't be shared. What I would recommend u do is ask for a full "well mans" physical with a full blood panel test. This will test everything in ur blood. I would tell the dr. Mine knows all about my use and I'm on wives insurance and she certainly doesn't know about my aas use!! That's being honest. There won't be anything sent in to ur insurance that will reflect steroid usage that will get back to or mailed to ur wife... Not possible..

the docs can report everything to insurance if you have insurance cover it.

medical records can be used in custody hearings as well

Tom, u are correct but your comments are being a lil too absolute. What I mean by that is that yes the dr can report such issues to insurance but would be only in the case of an insurance company issuing an investigation into certain claims. For example; if u see your dr and he sends eob ( explanation of benefits) to this insurance billing with symptoms of injuries sustained in a car wreck, the ins will then issue an investigation and request all records from that visit. If a pre existing condition may be suspected, the ins again will request all previous records to determine if they are liable for certain procedures. Basically the ins has to request and has to have a reason to request. They can be used also in custody battles but there needs to be probable cause and court documents with a subpoena to use them in court. Of course if all this is a worry then just go to a nearby clinic and pay cash for the test

I was just trying to provide a few examples as to how that process could happen. I don't disagree with u at all. If he is that concerned then he should do what u recommended and be safe rather than sorry
