Where do I start?

Okay guys, I have read lots on cycles for beginners, but I'm not a typical beginner and I am unsure where to begin. I've never done a cycle before, but I have been lifting for several years.
Stats
29 years
5'9
280lbs
23%bf--yeah, i know it's high.
I want more mass and to get the bf down around 10-12.
 
I am still bulking, but maybe a winny/fina/test cycle would do you wonders. What do you guys think?
 
Personally, I think what you need to do is get the body fat down first...then think about a cycle. I got my bf down to 13 from 17 before I started my first cycle. Just my advice, hope it helps!

If you want to add mass nows the time to do it. Before shredding down that is.
I don't know why you'd want to bulk up anymore though. I'm an in taller than you, hugecalves, and you got 80 lbs on me!! At 5'9'' 280 lbs, your one big mofo. You sure you never did a cycle before??

bro if i were you id hit the cardio/t3/clen till you got the bf around 10 or so, then start hitting something light like some primo/winny/anavar. my .02
 
why would you want to shred down before bulking up again?? Doesn't make sense. The rule of thumb is bulk up first, then shred down later.
Right or wrong?

he's at 23% bf, one good reason i can think of is so he doesn't get nasty ass stretch marks
 
I would get the bf% down a little before starting your bulk cycle. Diet, cardio, E/C/A will help you cut up a bit. There are many good cycles for beginners that will give you some nice results. Shoot me an e-mail or PM and i'll help ya out

bro he's already 280. He prolly already has them. I'm barely over 200 and I have them, and my bf% is not high.
 
I think a good rule of thumb is that if you cannot see your own f*ing feet, you do not need to do a bulking cycle.

For one, I would say for health reasons. It is not really wise to use AS when carrying so much fat as the heart will be struggling. Plus it is lean bodymass he wants and fat has nothing to do with it.
 
5'9" and 280lbs and only 23%BF. I'd say that you don't need any steroids. Believe it or not 23%BF is not alot. I mean dam, the military allows up to 20%BF and if you are over 30 they allow 24%. So that means that you must have alot of good muscle, unless your BF is really higher. I have no idea why in the hell you would want more mass? I mean shit, pretty soon you'll be too dam big to sit in a fucking chair at the movies.


MaxBi's, the mutha f'er is 280lbs and only 5'9", so far his whole life has been a bulking cycle. It's time for him to shed that excess fat and try to cut up some. Also, whether to bulk or cut first is 100% totally dependent on your genetics. If you are a fat fuck then bulking first would be stupid. The excess fat you have will cause more water retention and an increased chance of gyno. Bulking before cutting is one of those things where most think that most people who use juice are little skinny fucks who need to put on mass and lots of it. Then they cut up.

My advice for anyone over 18% BF is to go on a cardio cycle using test/winny and primo with clen and T3 or dnp. Then bulk some and then cut again. It's a never ending cycle. If you are skinny then bulk first and then bulk again then cut up. Peace.
 
I started my cycle at 23% BF. 5'11" 236lbs. today marks the start of my 3rd week of fina/winny/T3 and I am up to 245lbs and down to 20%bf. If you look at my shoulders, back, legs etc they dont look fat at all, it all just sits on my stomach....damn genetics. :)

Bro if you do a bulking cycle you'll end up over 300 lbs, I don't kinow too many chicks who find that sexy. If I was you, I'd try to rip up, and come in around 250, you"d be one huge ripped mofo!!!! Hell even at 235 you'd be big as f*%k!!!



PS- don't slack on the cardio- 29 is a good age to start thinking about keeping your heart in good shape!!!

Yeah, I'd agree with el cubano there. However I personally would guess that his bodyfat measurement is inaccurate anyway, as he has never done a cycle before. You can get huge variations when using say calipers as opposed to bodystat of hydro.
 
strengthmonster, where would a person look to find a place to get BF checked via hydro? I suck with calipers and as I mentioned, I cant pinch shit on thigh or pec, its all on my abs so I think my BF numbers are prolly off.
 
Lose some fat first. You are already in "bulk" condition. At 280 and 23%, bulking would be like going from a 10 week test/bulk cycle to another bulk cycle. That would leave too much work for the cut cycle. I prefer to bulk when I am lean - you see progress in a whole better light and can monitor your fat/water gains a lot better, plus maintain a small amount of cardio while bulking to keep things in check without stressing you heart. I always error on the lean/cut side, anyone can get fat.
