Can you mix the powder with the food/drink or do you have to take them in capped form?

Lots of weight-gainers contain ALA. I'm not sure if this has any significance, though.

My friend used to put it in water, ,but he said it tasted horrible. It's a derivative of sulfur he said, so that's pretty much what it tastes like straight. I'd stick with the caps.
