When you measure arms....

I measure everything cold. I like to get the smallest possible measurement (same with weight) so I have inspiration to keep working.

Personal preference, though. Pick one and stick with it.

I do all measurements cold, but flexed. That usually will give you the most consistant results. First thing in the morning is a good time, because believe it or not, your measurements change throughout the day (especially the waist).

Hold it... I think I have a bad case of 'I'm an idiot here.' I thought "cold" meant unflexed... not unpumped. Am I to understand that people here term cold... "flexed but not pumped."

If that's the case my arms just grew an inch and a half.

Cold means not worked out, so far as I know it has nothing to do with flexing or not, otherwise my 234 pounds with 16" arms would be EXTRA pathetic.

For Guiness book of records they measure in the mornings, cold (not worked out). If I work out triceps I go up 3/8", and biceps brings me up 1/4".

Holy shit! I thought cold meant unflexed. I was totally bummed to have 16 1/2 inch arms.

Now I've got 18" arms overnight. :)
