when you look in the mirror...

i will always see a fat guy... even if i get down to 135lbs i would still see this fat guy looking back.

I'm usually too busy rubbing my nipples to get a good look at all the opulant presence of life that is MOI. I get me hot baby! (Could I be onanistically gay?) Is that even a word?

Actually I see just a guy with HUGE BALLS! I wish mine were that big.

It varies based on my mood. If I'm sad or upset or angry, I look in the mirror and think I look fat and horrible. If I'm in a good mood, I might smile. I don't think I see myself as other see me.

....a person who has let too many years slip on by....

...but then - if it's a carnival type mirror - I look like a 300 pound midget and then an 8 foot tall string bean - depending....

it's a word.. but unless you meant that you jack off to thoughts of men.. then i don't think you used it right..

you used it right.

I usually don't look big enough to myself, unless I just got done working out. I think that's due to the combination of the pump and the endorphins.

I see Ms. Cleo

I have banned full length mirrors and scales from my house....j/k

Truthfully, I see lots of areas that need improvement and am never satisfied. But just like you Saint, It has always been that way, and I suspect it always will....

When i look in the mirror i still see the fat guy, but that is something that i know i will always see, so i just take it all in stride.

is anyone ever happy with what they see in the mirror?

i always think i look short and fat with big ugly thighs. i try not to look too much :(

Have always been happy with what I see.
Whats the point of not being happy with what you see, the fact you can see, hear, stand, etc should be more than enough for you or anyone to be happy.

All this "I'm not happy bullshit and negativity" is self centered and gets no sympathy whatsoever. peace

Havoc - True dat.

The mirror for me is a tool to critically assess my progress and make sure my hair is right.

i wasn't asking for any sympathy, just stating how i feel when i look in the mirror. i think most people experience some dissatisfaction when they look in the mirror. people are always harder on themselves.

As of late, I'm MUCH more satisfied by the way I look. My skin is tan, I put on muscle, I lost fat, i'm not having a constant bad hair day, I smile more, and I'm more or less content. Sometimes, though, i am reminded of the dorky kid in highschool.

Thank god I balanced out in the end.

As far as the outside, I see things that could be improved on.

The person on the inside?

I don't know, I guess a pretty decent man who tries to do his best for others, but usually places his wishes on the back burner.

But the question is...

Does anybody ever want to be 100% satisfied? A lot of the satisfaction comes from getting there, just like the kid that builds a model car- as soon as it's finished, it's put on the shelf and forgotten.

Hey smalls, why not let him see a few of these bullshit posts you make and that will certainly turn him off.

Where's the fun in being 100% satisfied?? I mean, where do you go from there? I like being in a state of constant improvement...I reach one goal, I set another for myself...otherwise I'd get bored pretty quick! But when I look in the mirror it makes my diet not so hard to stick to cuz I'm usually pointing out all my bad spots!

yeah, same here, really depends on how I feel

The genetic betrayal that shall be my legacy.
Seriously, most of the people on this board wouldn't even bother if they had my genetics. I'm the hardest gainer on earth and probably couldn't reach 250lbs if I do this all my life (I'm 6'2").

I do tend to be hard on myself, but I must admit that I've improved some, but I doubt it's as much as I should. And I always compare myself to the "elite" (no pun intended) 1% of the US population and feel shitty though I know I'm better than at least 80% of the fatasses in this country.

when i'm happier i see abs that are coming in and decent tone in my arms... and sometimes i even like how my hair and face looks.

when i'm not happy i see big hips, shoulders that aren't big enough, a flabby ass, big thighs, and small calves. however, instead of dwelling on it i try to convince myself that i could look a hell of a lot worse, and with hard work it'll get better.

i am rarely impressed with my skin though.

I see myself, then I become so enraged about the chemical spill that I shatter the mirror, run to Toothless' house and cut his throat severely with a broken shard.

Then I listen to Sade.

Right now, i see the hot ass and lean back of a chick riding me.

Metaphorically speaking, i'm happy with what i see. If you have two arms, two legs and are generally healthy what is there not to be happy about. Everything else is a bonus.

I see this stranger staring back(it usally happens when i get outta the shower)peepin tom? maybe.he's always gone when the cops arrive!!! RADAR

Sometimes I see someone I hate, sometimes someone Im satisfied with, sometimes I punch the mirror right where my face is...I have yet to see someone Im happy with, I see incompleteness

I see an unfinished project. I seriously need to bring up my biceps and back, and shed about 5% and then I think I will look decent.

I think we judge our own appearance far more harshly than others.

Personally, I'm only get annoyed with little things about my body. Love handles that won't disappear, gyno, no upper chest...shit that I really have no controll over.

i see a fucking tall, ripped dude who can kick all your motherfucking asses!! errr....well not really, actually:D j/k but seriously people, stop yer whinin'!

If that's you in the avatar you've got nothing to worry about. :)

i see a person that has overcome alot of obstacles; i also see the result of hard training and dedication. I feel as though i am lucky for the skills and mind strength that i posses above and beyond the norm.

I also see a baby, someone who has more to learn that imaginable. And i think to myself how wonderful life will be in my future.

Bodybuilding is a very unique sport, it improves all aspect of life. Sometimes the dedication to your goals gets in the way of family and friends. Like i said i have alot to learn; i look in the mirror now and strive to see a better person, someone that isnt so selfish at times.

Im happy with what i have become, but still unsatisfied with many things..... ofcourse its the journey that fuels me, not the destination.
