When will Pontiac step up?

Ford made a retro version of the Mustang, Chevy is coming out w/ a semi-retro version of the Camaro, Dodge is bringing back the Challenger ( which looks fuckin' bad ass) but the damn GTO looks like every other Pontiac car.

I think a splice between the 69 and newer models would be kick ass.

it's GM so you figure they already did step up with the camaro... but a trans am or firebird has to be near.... with the bird on hood, that'd be sweet...

as for the GTO... you cant tell that from a G6 from a grand prix.

and a retro firebird would kick ass. Chevy should bring back the Chevelle too, something based on the '70 model.

I don't like what they did with the rear-end. I think the rest of the car is great but the look from the back should be hot in a fast car, after all that is what you want people to see.

It's coming from the Chrysler 300/Dodge Magnum/Dodge Charger platform that the Challenger is using. It's the same car, with 4" removed from the wheelbase.

IF the new Camaro goes into production, a next-generation GTO will be built on the same platform, and in the USA not Australia.
