when to wash a shirt, polos etc.

I have a tendency to wash my shirt after each time I wear it. Even if it doesn't stink.. Same goes for dress shirts, going out shirts etc(usually I take those to dry cleaners).

Im noticing that my shirts become old pretty quick this was and Ive seen friends who've had shirts for 10 years and they still look just about new. What am I doing wrong and how often do you wankers do it?

+1 pants and my labcoat are the only thing I rewear.... I've never noticed stuff wearing out.

Depends how long I wear it. If it's just a couple hours I hang it up. If it's all day, I wash it.

buy better quality shirts, possibly wash in cold water, take button downs to cleaners, get laundry detergent that is softer on fabric..

and yeah washing after every use is the way to go
