If you're talking store brand vs Bumblebee or Starkist - splurge for the name brand. For taste alone, it is worth it.

If you mean the regular vs. the albacore white tuna, I strongly suggest the Albacore tuna. It doesn't stink like the regular stuff and tastes almost like chicken. I don't know about you guys, but I get very tired of that old fishy tuna taste.

Also if you buy it in a pouch, you don't have to drain it and it's more fresh.

Starkist Chunk lite in water $.58 at store. Can't beat that price especially when your buying a ton of cans. Tastes good and good source of protein.

at my local aldi's store it's like 26 cents a can. taste like fishy stuff the albacore definetly taste a lot better.

If you don't like the "fishy" taste, then don't buy the cheap stuff. I like white albacore tuna, it's not fishy at all.
