When do you think bodybuilders first started using Growth Hormone?

Just one more thing, why do you think the pro's are always bitching and complaining that it costs them too much money to compete?

Steroids are not that expensive even in relatively large quantities. Therefore I would say most of the bitching is because of the price of Growth Hormone.

Don't know how much you pay for GH in the States, I heard $50 for 4 iU's. In the UK it is about £60 or approx $90 for 4 iU's.

Considering the minimum effective dose is 4 iU's per day and you need to use it for at least a couple of months to get the full benifit, that's going to end up pretty expensive.

Ok so 8 weeks of GH at 4 iU's per day will cost a minimum of $2800 in the US and $5040 in the UK.

How many of you are willing to fork out almost 3 grand for just Gowth Hormone alone? Fot just an 8 week cycle?

I have also heard the arnold rumer in 1980 for his last mr. O. madmitch I have never bought GH but I have heard most people on this board quote between 400 and 800 for 126 IUs so they pay less than 7 and IU, but if some of the guys are right about ronnie colman using 42 IUs a day the would be a lot of money.

There is just so much incorrect information out there about GH. Cadaver GH was first produced in the 50's. J.C.'s disease was the most common illness transfered via this method, with the last new case identified in the 70's. Synthetic Gh eliminates this problem. Supplementing GH will NOT cause acromeglia.....abnormal bone growth. It will increase the symptoms in those who already suffer from the disease, of course. The normal individual has natural defense mechanisms to minimize the effects of exogenous GH, so huge doses will not lead to improved results. Those who have acromeglia lack these defenses, and have the facial distortion and giantism seen in those who have the disease.
A proper 12 week cycle costs 1800 or less, and is well worth it if you compete or otherwise make a living from your appearance, or are over 50, like myself. You can't win big shows without GH/insulin these days.
GH has many other benefits,including mood enhancement, smoothing and improving the skin, leanness with mass, joint and ligament strengthening.........I've used it for many years, and would never be without!
