Ok so it was invented in the late 60's
Now if I where a competive bodybuilder in the late 60's early to late 70's and I was already using steroids and someone told me about this new drug, GROWTH hormone. What do you think my reaction would be?
Well obviously I would be dying to find out more about it and where I could get my hands on it.
So there is a high possibility that the top guys in the late 70's where using some growth hormone.
Now Lee Priest was asked something like, why are the bodybuilders today so much bigger and ripped than in Arnolds day? Have genetics changed so much in such a short time?
Priest tried to say that it was down to the fact that more guy's are competing and therefore you have a larger genetic pool, so you are going to get some genetic freaks.
Well I say "bullshit" how can a 5 ft 4" dwarf compete today at 230 lb's and 3% bodyfat, when just over 20 years ago the best bodybuilder in the World "Arnold" at 6 ft 2" tall was competing at 235 lb's and probably around 6% bodyfat???????????
As I have said before, steroids cannot alter genetics, but Growth hormone can.
