When do you do Squats???

I do legs all in one day, and only once a week for me, the last work day so I'll have the weekend to recover. A must for me since I run 3-4 days M-F.

Squats are all you really need for quads and hams anyway. So ditch the extra day and spend more time squatting. Throw in some stiff leg deadlifts and calf raises, and your legs will be set.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with that. My hams were not getting hit like they should have been until I added glute-ham raises. Although squats hit everything, I still think that additional ham work should be done.

I do Squats on thigh day- I work the whole thigh-both quads and hams, used to do calves, but got into BFT and switched up.

I've always done legs all together on one day. I start off with squats and then follow that with either a SL DL or some leg curls for the hammys. Usually 5 working sets on squats and 2 other exercises with 3-4 sets each. Then finish off doing calves.

I just, as in today, started seperating hams and quads. I did hams today. I thought this might be a good idea, but now I am realizing that there really isnt too much you can do to TRUELY isolate hams on their own day and et I end up doing for quads on Wed will also do a little hams...

for my "ham day"

i do lying DB leg curls. SL deadlifts and then single leg curls.

usually after squats another compound i pick out of a hat, and leg extensions i dont give my hams as much attetnion as i'd like,
