when did blockbuster charge $4 for a DVD

when did this happen? i rented freddy vs jason today and it was 3.99. WHen did that happen i thought they were 2.99 tops. Im out a whole buck now.

you'd think, but before i went to blockbuster i bought a 1.75 of ten high whiskey for $13 and two 32 oz of natural ice for .99 cents apiece. So im covered for several weeks.
