First log on EF but looking forward to starting fresh.

Unluckily ive been down and out for nearly 6 weeks due to having 3 bulging discs, tiny c6 endplate fracture and some spinal cord compression. I do jiu jitsu along with the Gym and the neck issues more then likely came from a neck crank/choke whilst rolling.
I could barely move my neck for weeks, no sleep, constant pain.
Its been hard to only do some cardio and legs.
ive had my shots in my neck about 2 weeks ago and seeing the specialist for potential key hole surgery.
i have given it a solid amount of time doing nothing and bulging has gone down, still a nerve issue due to a bone spur but im now managing to get back into incorporating my upper body.
starting light and working my way up, also staying away from shrugs and anything that puts heavy strain on the neck, to be safe until i have my appointment with specialist.

Im trying to stay around the 2300 calories to try trim down more but still hit atleast 200g protein.
I have a food business so food prep isnt a big issue.
Alot of my meals look like grass fed Steak and veg/salad at night.
During the days Asian spiced grass fed beef mince with rice and salad mostly. BBQ Chicken & pineapple with rice.
Try to get my 200grams of protein daily and I also use protein yoghurts throughout the day for quick meals.
