anyone ever try one?...no beating the whole food thing, for sure, but how are these for getting some daily nutrients?...anyone know the nutritional value of these things? thanx, just wondering!
The ad in our local health food store says that it's the equivalent of eating 2.2lbs. of roughage. Whether or not that is true is negligable. However, I believe it's a very potent source of vitamins/minerals and antioxidants.
Perhaps in terms of antioxidants and other phytonutrients, but when it comes to fiber, real veggies will always win out. Lovely bit of fiction in that ad, though.
