After your post w/o pro shake, whats your next meal? I usually do chicken breasts or steak, yam, and green veggies?

Ideas??

i prefer foods that are easily digested like egg whites and beans or tuna.

Whey Isolate and water at gym immediately after workout

3 Whole Eggs and Eggwhites with hotsauce once home.

After workout immediate hit down pro recover (50g glucose 25g whey)

then when i get home i have grilled chicken breast and plenty of steamed veggies and some flax oil

imediatly post workout

1266 calories 60 g protein, 200 carbs, 26g fat

then 2 hrs later what ever we have for dinner usually 2 servings meat, baked potato, veggies, grahm crackers, 1 tbsp pb

Alot seem to have veggies with their protein. Is that the way to go? better than ... say oatmeal? or sweet potatoe? because my meals are at night and I usually have the low GI carbs in the morning/day.

Also I thought that you should`nt really mix fats with carbs, for those having PB or flax with the meals?

If the purpose of PW meal is to be quickly digested, liquid form is better.
Fats would slow down absortion ( i suppose the same will happen with the fiber from veggies). I think the exception would be for those in keto diet who could mix whey with some flax PW.

Not all people agree with having Hi-GI carbs PW specially while cutting.

Milk, yogurt, oats, egg whites seems also good choices instead of whey/malto/dextrose.
