I've got one or two semesters left on my Philosophy and English degrees. Should have the Philosophy by now, but I took 7 classes that I didn't need. Oops.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree 3 years ago. I double majored in Advertising and Business Administration, and received a minor in Art. I am currently back in the swing of school again, I should receive my Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering with an emphasis in Materials Chemistry next year.

I'm not impressed by fancy degrees. I've met people with high school educations who educated themselves all through life and these people became some of my best friends. Not to take away from any one who busted their ass for their degree, but it doesn't always mean you are better educated.

I couldn't agree with you more . I am a high school dropout and run a succesull business . I learned from real life role models who had their own business and by doing a ton of reading on business plans and attending many business seminars. most of my friends have college degrees and they all work in low paying jobs. Self education is the best form of education. College doesn't even compare to what you can learn on your own.

I'd agree with this to a certain extent. Some of the most intelligent people I've ever met have had no formal education. Additionally, I've encountered plenty of morons while I was in college(And I went to a quite well regarded school.) Intellectually curious, intelligent people will be smart no matter what, and the stupid and intellectually lazy will be morons no matter what degree(s) they may possess. The amount of schooling one has gone through has surprisingly little to do with things.

school...

I am in my fifth year of college...
I am an English/Education major at FSC in MA. I will never be done!! Just took a final tonight. I am working full time to put myself through school and have been since I began. Hard, but eventually worth it.
