What's your favorite diet?

i've tried alot but the one im doing now seems to be working albeit slowly

50/25/25 (gonna switch to a 40/30/30)

3 carb + protein meals centered around training
3 protein + fat meals (salmon , fish oils and flax)

Plenty (and i mean plenty) of High intensity cardio
ALA and ECA

And believe me i'm the worst diet candidate, i have so much stubborn fat and for years i have done everything to remove it, sometimes i think it'll never go

I do a 60-20-20 p/f/c - about 1700-1800 calories. I've lost about 50 pounds of body fat and added 10 pounds of LBM since November.

I believe in low carb diets but not zero carb diets.

Your workouts will be disasterous w/o any carbs to build glycogen levels up to give your muscles enery.

Not to mention that your brain needs carbs to function, I have been in those zone out phases that low carbs can cause.

Not good if you are working.

W/O any carbs, your body will catabolize muscle and protein for energy.

Good quality slow chain carbs are the best, mainly raw veggies, rice, baked potato and an occasional pasts, preferrably whole wheat pasta.

No one diet is best, depends on your goals and if the AAS is hittin.EX. keto would be a really ineffecient way to bulk

Here's what works for me:

Bulking(always w/AAS): eat clean and throw in cheat meals to get in enough cals. Too hard to eat enough clean cals. Maybe one or tow cheat meals a day. See food diets make me a fat slob and eating too clean can't get eough cals.

Cutting w/AAS: modificed Crum diet (carbs and fats kept separate with carbs around workout time and fats later at night, still lots of protein). Put on some muscle while still losing fat

Cutting w/0 AAS: keto. Can't put on muscle while cutting with AAS so no need for carbs. Plus eating keto food is yummy

Mainatinance for off cycle or lean mass w/AAS: hight protein, low fat, mod carbs(low gi). Just trying to hold what i've gained from my previous cycles or with this diet and AAS I can stay lean and still slap on some muscle.

on a 40/30/30 diet and working out very nicely, not as fast gains as when i was on a CKD but that may be due to the fact that i never gained any fat back from after keto and have little to lose. Also easy to stay on and doesn't take that much preparation/thought. Im also not failing school, always a good thing!
