What's your best training split?

The best I've ever used was six days a weeks each muscle group twice a week with low reps(10-6) and high volume(9-12 sets small groups/16-20 large). My body can't take that anymore...
DAYS 1&4 CHEST,TRICEPS, DELTS
DAYS 2&5 BACK, BICEPS, FOREARMS
DAYS 3&6 LEGS
DAY 7 REST!

NOW... (moderate volume. 7-9 sets small groups/10-12 large. Reps 12-3)

DAY 1 CHEST, BICEPS, FOREARMS
DAY 2 UPPER LEGS, ABS
DAY 3 DELTS, CALVES, ABS
DAY 4 BACK, TRICEPS
DAY 5 REST!

Damn thats a lot of taxing guy. You didn't run it like that all natural did you?? It looks like it would be pretty good during a 8-12 week cycle, but even then, thats a lot of sets. My favorite splits when NOT on the sauce looks like:

day1-chest/front delts
day2-back/rear+side delts
day3-off
day4-legs
day5-arms
day6-off
day7-off
 
Ya, that was one of Arnold's routine haha.

I used it in high school for about 2-3 months if I remember right and all it did was make me overtrain.

But if I was on the juice I'm sure I could handle it and make great gains now.

So far I like a 4 day split

monday heavy chest
tuesday legs and abs mornign and night workouts
wednesday rest
thursday light chest, triceps and shoulders either morning workout or split into 2 workouts
friday back and biceps and traps and abs morning and night workouts

It was easy at the time bro. I had more energy than any man should... ;) I couldn't do that again if I tried. I was 15-17 and my body just ate it up. I was natural but was asked more than once if I took steroids. I've never taken any sauce because of safety concerns but if I did I'd jump back on that routine in a minute... Nice split btw.
 
The split I prefer is
Day 1 Chest/Lats/Tri/Abs
Day 2 Legs
Day 3 Delts/Traps/Bi/Abs
Day 4 Off
Day 5 Full body, 2 exercises per body part
Day 6 Basketball
Day 7 Off
 
day 1 (mon) chest/bis
day 2 (tues)legs
day 3 (wed) rest
day 4 (thur)shoulders/traps/tris
day 5 (fri) back
day 6 (sat) chest/bis
day 7 (sun)rest
day 8 (mon) legs
and so on..... Off days are always on wednesday and sunday
calves and abs are done every 3 days, alternating.
