What's with the rec...

Guys, I'm a little confused about all those posts pertaining to recreational drugs. I was under the impression that this was strictly an anabolic steroid forum. Discussing recreational drugs just feeds into the hype that steroids are like a gateway drug, that once you take them you will use another one. I also feel that discussing recreational drugs will also bring unwanted attention from LE people, which we really don't need. Now don't get me wrong, I don't condone those using recreational drugs nor am I putting them down because I don't use them. I just think that maybe we should clean up our posts a little bit. Been a lot of posts with questions regarding pain killers, coke, and weed.

In no way am I saying you shouldn't use those drugs if you so choose to do so, I just think that we should clean this forum up a bit when it comes to recreational drugs.

Yeah, sweep the recreational drugs under the rug so we can all pretend we're better than those losers that do them.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but rec drugs are a big part of the BB lifestyle for many pros/hardcore BB's. Many of us are addicts that's lives were saved because AAS steered us in a different direction. To put roids in a category of their own, as if they don't exist in our BB world, or are somehow less of a violation of laws (and more morally acceptable than rec drugs) only comprimises the quality of 411 on this board. The guys that are unfamiliar w/ rec drugs are the only ones bitching-as the jab their asses with another 600 mgs. of home brew test. Gimme a break. You guys put your pants on one leg at a time-just like us.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for being discreet online about our hypothetical bending of the law, but do you honestly think LE gives two shits about us discussing weed or coke when they could investigate our roid use? That would truly feed the media whores what they want??? Rec drugs are old news and stories about them don't sell newspapers/magazines in the way that roids do.

If you think about it, the general public hates Barry Bonds for the rumors of him using juice 100x more than they hate Kate Moss for getting busted actually doing coke on film. In fact, Kate Moss lost a few modeling contracts, but is now receiving from another magazine 3x the pay she would've before her coke scandal. She has actually received an increase in pay as a direct result of proof that she does drugs!!! Imagine Bonds slamming a GH/roid cocktail on film. Do you think he'd receive a raise for that?

If you truly want to stay off the radar screen you probably shouldn't be posting here at all.

I know AAS are illegal, and so are rec drugs...but I would assume that AAS usages are to better ones self...I can't see how the rec drugs would be in the same category.

i dont do rec drugs either. i just dont like them, but there seems to be a sentiment that doing illegal steroids is somehow not as illegal or wrong as doingb rec drugs. on EF anyhow.
