Whats with people who throw stuff out?

I think they may lack skills and hobbies.

if you throw something out, it is assured that you will need it at a later date.

So you will have to make a special trip right now and pay top dollar for something likely made in China.

we are such a consuming society. we consume, throw, consume, throw, etc.
And we throw stuff that isnt ready to be thrown.

A car doesnt last more than 15 years here and it gets crumpled, whereas in Cuba they last 50 years.

My wife is from China, we can’t even throw aluminum cans out, or plastic bottles, and she keeps everything,

My mom keeps every thing. Literally!
She is a severe pack rat. After i moved out she turned my room into her comp room and you seriously cannot walk in it because she has so much crap. My step dad just keeps on stuffing all of her sit in the comp room!
She even has bags full of bags of coffee that she has taken from hotel rooms, and the lady drinks tea!

I think that my mom does this shit because she was raised like that. We helped move my great grandma from one nursing home to another and the lady had so much shit it was pathetic.This was back in 1990's. The lady had shit from the 50's!!!
My mom is just like her. Newspaper clippings up the ass of all kinds of people that passed away.Old magazines from the 80's,birthday cards, all kinds of SHIT

And by junk I don't mean recycleable stuff. Heaven knows I have 4 trash cans for that. btw what do you do with the plastic holding your six pack together?
