What's up w/ all these injuries?

Seems like a lot of the posts I've read lately are about strains, pulls, and tears. Is this common w As, or are a lot of people starting the juice before they have maximized their bodies potential, naturally. Does this happen because their strength climbs so rapidly, that the tendons & ligaments can not compensate?
 
Well years of pounding the weights hard will inevitably take its toll on your body no matter what. Couple that with big quick strength increases and you are only increasing those risks, but if you are using proper form these risks can be minimized...but the risk is still always there. I find most of my injuries come from activities outside of the gym...
