What's the worst injury you've ever had?

Ouch...that musta hurt

Yeah, and the bed spins for the next 6 months didn't help. NO food except I.V.s for the first 7 days in I.C. I went from 185 to 145 in a month...and that hurt more because my joints ached.

Cool thing was I was able to get a script for stanozolol tabs after because my doc knew I needed to regain the mass I lost

Concussions! I have had about a dozen of them. One of them almost killed me. Luckily I got hospilized in time. The good thing is that I now have scrambled brains! It would take me hours to list all of my other injuries. I have either broke, cut, burned, pulled, torn, or bruised just about every part of my body!

I forgot I chopped my right thumb off, but luckily they re-attached it!

Jesus. I'm amazed the mortality rate for board members isn't higher. I was squirming while reading some of these posts...

I'm lucky. I've never had a really serious injury.

Ummmm...let's see. A few years ago, when I was a bartender, a glass broke in my hand. All the meat/skin on my left index finger was literally hanging off the bone. I had glass stuck in both hands. Fortunetly, I had a great plastic surgon, and he fixed me right up. Still have some scars, but I tell girls I got 'em a knife fight.

Other than that, besides a few cuts and scrapes, I've been fine.

No real serious injuries here, but i read about a shocker a few weeks ago.


A man was playing Rugby and got into a tackle. In the scrum his hip got dislocated. When they popped it back in he started screaming and screaming but nobody knew why. It turns out that his testicle had retracted up into his abdomen during the injury and was basically squashed into the socket when the hip bone was put back in place.

He tore a vocal cord screaming.

Worst injury I ever had was in a karate tournament when I was 19 years old (I was younger and more competitive back then).

I got fractured ribs, broken nose and a fractured skull out of it.

Don't ever piss of a serious competitor in full contact karate tournaments - some of them take it personally and try to get payback.

In this case I pissed him off by beating him in a previous tournament so he decided to take me out when we next met at a tournament. One illegal move followed by kicking me twice when I was down - shortly before I kicked him off the mats apparently (but I can't remember any of that as I passed out just after my foot connected with his torso).

We live and learn.....

the karate thing- id hunt him down and beat the shit outta him for that.....that really sounds like the type of offense that gets you banned from competitions



ive mashed up mt toe and my right knuckle, the latter from football crazily enough
