50 mph in my dad's '74 Mustang II -- wasn't sure if the hood was going to fly off at 55 or not, so didn't push it.

Yeah it was a rental I had for work, took it out on a deserted section of road in Oklahoma. The govenor kicked in at 115 so don't know how much faster it could have gone.

yes the roads were clear, it was at 1 in the morning i was on my way home from a party!!!

151 in a 94 vette. My buddy was driving and I was the passenger on the way back up from Florida. As soon as we slowed down to 60, our tire blew out. Luckily it did'nt happen at 151 (digital speedometer readout)

We slowed down because a turn was coming up as well. We just wanted to get 150 and did it.

On the same trip we saw an 18 wheeler going the wrong way in our left lane on the highway. Damn!!!

175 mph. on my Honda Superhawk. Not doin' that again. 150 in a '66 Dodge Charger. The tach, and the speedometer were both pegged at the same time. Couldn't believe it myself.
