I love to take 1OOmgs of Proviron per day. But the stuff poops out on me usually by week 8.
Now I"m on Masteron. Alongside with 2OOmgs of Test Cyp a week.
1OOmgs of Proviron per day *7OOmgs per week* is how much Masteron per week?
Would 2OOmgs per week be the same? Or 4OOmgs per week?
Keep in mind that when you take 50mg of provirone it has a half life of 8-12 hours tops. So when you are taking it you have a level of about 50mg of it in the system... However its effects on how it raises hormone levels,androgen levels, augmentation of erythropoiesis is of course higher with any oral steroid, estrogen+progesterone reduction, and there affinities to different receptors differ slightly.. Many factors will come into play but when you ask ( what is the equivalent of this drug compared to another its not such a simple answer and this may be way no one has tackled this topic in your thread for you...
Here allows me to brake it down for you my friend.
Masterone and provirone are both DHT derivatives and they are
almost identical in structure. One could even go as far to say that one is the injectable form of the other but not quite.
Masterone prop
17beta-Hydroxy-2alpha-methyl-5alpha-androstan-3-one propionate
Now as you can see in this compound the work horse ( DHT)has been upgraded with a 2a-mthyl group increasing its "anabolic" properties over Provirone ever so slightly. It supports muscle growth as well as a more stable estrogen reducing effect then provirone over time. Keeping in mind that masteron was specifically created for breast tumor reduction.
Provirone
1 alpha-methyl-17 beta-hydroxy-5 alpha-androstan-3-one
Now Provirone rapidly reduces to a inactive "Diol" metablite in the muscle tissue so it has a much weaker anabolic effect on the muscles then its counterpart Masterone. However on the plus side Provirone does bind to "androgen" responsive Adipose tissue at a much higher affinity then Masterone. Furthermore Provirone has one of the highest affinities for plasma Binding Proteins, hence why its has always been known as the " Helping or supporting steroid). May people think of it as one of the best "add ones" to a cycle anyone could add.
So you see Carth your question (although thanks for contributing to the forums as always) is a bit vague, but its not your fault..
Knowing you as well as I do from reading your post/threads in the past. I would think your number one concern is there equale effects on estrogen,progesterone, and sex drive. As I have often seen you comment on how grate provrione has worked for you in this department. 200-300mg of masterone (once peak levels are reached. *about a week and a half to two weeks*) will give you the same effects in this department as 50mg a day of provirone..
However like I said aside from this factor don't expect the results to be anything like each other.
