I don't know if it is a question of "stronger".

Var has always been popular with women because of it's low chance of sides. It is also one of the only AAS that has shown to actually help with BF loss. While all AAS can bring on sides, there is enough research out there for me to feel safer with it. I know the half-life of each drug, and can base my dosing decisions off that.

Pro-Hormones are unreliable with women. They often bring on sides, but do not give the benefits (gains) of 'real' AAS. I have very very rarely read anything positive about pro-hormones and women. I simply just do not trust them.

There is nothing 'wrong' with taking anything. It is up to the individual to research everything out there, and make a decision based off what they are willing to risk.

I'll update the results of the one client that I train who has been using norandro intermittently since Dec 03. She has added 8.5 lbs of muscle since then with the prohormone and this is someone that had been at a plateau for months, so the anabolic effects are from the prohormone, not a change in diet or training. Started at a bodyweight of 121 lbs at 16.7% BF, now she's at 124 lbs, 11.7% bodyfat. Gains have been steady and consistent. She added 3 lbs of lean mass in the past 2 months. The current sum of 8 skinfold sites (tricep, bicep, subscap, suprailliac, ab, mid-ax, thigh and calf) are 41.5 mm. Her results have been followed using a Bod Pod and backed up with UW weigh, so they are what they are.

However, she and others are noticing a deepening of her voice. Certainly not like a girl on moderate doses of test or out of normal for a female, but there is a change. Only real side other than a little more than normal acne, but not noticeable. So, the prohormones are not without androgenic side issues.

When I think of other women in the gym that have told me of OX use, 10 mg per day max, the gains in muscle were more dramatic + 10 lbs over several months, and there was no change in voice at that dose with intermittent use.

My guess is that 1-AD is more likely to have greater androgenic effects than norandro with some anabolic effects.

Personally, one is far better off from a side effect profile with OX than any prohormone. Much greater anabolic effect, much lower androgenicity. Of course OX is illegal and norandro, for now isn't.

Trains each bodypart once a week, heavy everyother week, abs twice.

Tues = Chest/back
Wed = Legs
Fri = Shoulders/arms

Would like to spread it out a little more, but her home and work schedule won't permit. Married, 2 kids and 2 jobs, lives 30 min from the gym.

Workouts last 50 - 60 min, max. High intensity circuit style workout, but not light weight. Flat bench DB presses 60 x 8. Leg press 25 reps deep with 450 lbs. Squats 135 x 8 ass to ankles. Superset most exercises, so she can't go much heavier.

Cardio = 30 min 5x per week.

Total kcal = 1800 - 2200/d.

Carbs 95 - 160 grams/d, depending on the workout day.
Pro 190 - 300 g/d, depends on carb intake.
Fat 15 - 30g/d

Takes creatine (Elite-K) doesn't bother her stomach; NO2 (Met-Rx) fantastic pumps

1 - 25 mg/Ephedrine sulfate or HCl in the am. Several cups of coffee from early am to mid-day.

That's it.

Love hearing about your clients W6....your input is very appreciated.

With this statement of yours, are you saying that you believe that 1-AD will likely bring on MORE sides than norandro does? Your clients have noticed some sides (deepening of voice, little acne) with norandro, and you believe that if they were taking 1-AD they would likely get more sides?

Yes. 1-AD appears by structure to have more androgenic potential, and from what some of the guys say about it, I would recommend against it for a woman. Wouldn't even recommend norandro per se, but the anabolics with less sides are not a legal option.
